Samsung Galaxy S20 Release Date And Price
The S20 prices for 4G/5G versions conform to those above, while the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G seemingly starts at €1,099 (around $1,215 / £926 / AU$1,775). and therefore the top-tier Samsung Galaxy Ultra 5G comes in at a whopping €1,349 (around $1,491 / £1,136 / AU$2,179) for the 128GB version, while the 512GB model could cost €1,549 (around $1,712 / £1,305 / AU$2,502).
The price in dollars is probably going to be similar, with the worth in pounds probably set to be slightly less than that. Note however that with rumors of a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra at the highest of the range, the bottom S11 / S20 is probably going to essentially be the S11e altogether but name, making these prices high if accurate.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Specs At a Look
Of course, until the phone is officially announced we’re uncertain of what it’ll actually offer. However, these are the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S20 specs.
120Hz capable display in two sizes
Up to 12GB of RAM
12-megapixel main camera, 64-megapixel secondary
4500mAh battery (likely on the Plus model)
Exynos 990/Snapdragon 865
Samsung Galaxy S20 Camera
Rumours about the camera (or more likely cameras) on the Galaxy S20 are rife for months, but a recent XDA Developers leak seems to provide us our greatest look yet at what specs the front and rear sensors on the phone will pack. If the leak if to be believed, the S20 will boast:
A 12-megapixel main sensor with large 1.8μm pixels. The sensor itself are going to be the Sony IMX555 – an as-yet-unreleased module.
A secondary 64-megapixel camera (Samsung ISOCell 55KGW2) the utilization of which isn’t clear.
A zoom lens with zoom between 3x and 30x.
The same leak also goes into detail on what we will expect from the video skills of this phone. it’s like 8K recording (we’ve yet to ascertain this on a phone) are going to be supported at 30fps on a minimum of the S20 Plus variant, alongside 4K 60fps with both OIS and EIS. Other reported features include a professional video mode, some smart selfie features which zoom-in mic feature from the Note 10.
Interesting, a leaked picture of the rear of 1 of the S20 variants seems to suggest there’ll be a fourth sensor on the rear . this might alright be a ToF (time of flight) sensor for improving the depth effect in portrait, or as Samsung calls it Live Focus, mode. Samsung has utilised this tech before so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise to ascertain it here.
